Transformers 3 what would you like to see?

Sunday, December 20th, 2009
Hello My Transformers fans . If you were not aware of this  Transformers 3 is scheduled to be released on July 1’st 2010 and I just can’t wait!  There are a lot of opinions on what should be in the movie and what should not. I would like to discuss both today  because in the Transformers : revenge of the fallen there were certain things that I really don’t want to see nor want my children to see. We all know that Transformers is and will always be ( unless they ruin it) a child’s fantasy toy , even as adults there is that child in us that remember them and still collect those generation 1 robots. So let’s talk about it from a parent’s point of view .

Megan Fox
We all know everybody thinks she is super hot and super cool and everybody wishes they look like her or dated her or whatever. But do we really need her to be in those really really shorts and may I add fixing a bike with her dad in those shorts?? Seriously? I have daughters I would like to show them that Transformers are cool but I don’t want to show them that looking like that is right at all.

The dogs I love the dogs, but I don’t really think the language and actions of the dogs getting it on in the movie is very appropriate for the young viewers that spend their allowance money to see it nor the parents who have to sit there embarrassed that their kids just saw two dogs doing it. There is no really need for that all.

The Pee – do we really need to see our awesome Transformers peeing in every movie? It was cute the first time, the second time – not very cute nor funny.

The Language : I am not a bible thumper nor I keep my children in a bubble, but I sure don’t want to take them to see a wholesome movie which I am paying about $100.00 ( between tickets and food) that night and have them come out with so much foul language and potty humor. People say you have to teach your children what not to do, this is a movie. Well I am paying for that movie and I don’t want my kids to hear that, sure I could not take them to the show but is it really a bad thing to ask, not to use such language in a children’s oriented movie?

Annoying robots : I don’t know about you but this movie had so many I robotscould not keep up. And the ones I could see where too annoying for my taste like the “twins” really, I could have done without them, just like Jar Jar binks nobody wanted there and nobody liked them. Also the female robot with Sam, what was up with that tail coming from her back side?

Now I know I have mentioned a bunch of things I wish I never have to see in Another Transformers Movie but there are a lot of them I want them to come back.  For example I believe Sam’s parent are awesome, they make the whole movie funny and real because we can all remember having parents like those two.

Sam is just awesome, I enjoy Sam’s character because he is in between a man-child unsure of what he is going to do but doing it anyways.

I enjoyed having the old agent Simmons back,  he is funny and brings good humor to the entire movie. Overall I truly enjoyed Transformers 2 but I hope they will change a few things here and there.

Fun Facts :

I am not sure how many of you have read this fun facts about Transformers 2 so I am going to post them again :

Michael Bay considered making a small project in between Transformers (2007) and this film, but he “didn’t want someone else to take his baby.

On July 27, 2008, Shia LaBeouf and Isabel Lucas were involved in a car crash, with LaBeouf having his hand injured and in need of surgery. Thankfully, production was delayed by only two days after the accident: Michael Bay made up for it by filming second unit scenes, and LaBeouf recovered a few weeks earlier than expected, allowing him to return to the set. Bay advised the hand injury be written into the story (Sam injures his hand as a result of Jetfire’s skewed transportation), but Roberto Orci said rewrites were done to protect his hand for the remainder of the shoot.

The Decepticon Alice is classified as a Pretender, a robot that maintains a bio-organic

Wheelie’s robot mode pays homage to Wall-E (2008), another robot film. Both robots have elongated necks, binocular eyes and treads; and both are servants that eventually make their own decisions.

This film’s release date coincides with the 25th anniversary of the “Transformers” (1984).

Megatron’s alternate mode in this film is an alien tank. This combines events from The Transformers: The Movie (1986) (where he was resurrected as the robot Galvatron, whose alternate mode was a tripod laser cannon/pistol but was later changed to an Israelian Merkava tank) with the 1980s Transformer comics (he was resurrected as himself, but as a tank).

John Turturro was allowed to climb the pyramids during filming in Egypt. At one point, he simply broke down crying. When Michael Bay questioned him, he said, “You just don’t get to do this in movies. You don’t get to shoot in a place that’s 4000 years old.

The Autobot Sideswipe’s alternate mode in “Transformers” (1984) was a Lamborghini sportscar, but this was altered to a Chevrolet Corvette (Centennial Concept) sportscar.

Neither the University of Pennsylvania nor the  Princeton University  are named in the film, because both schools’ bodies felt that the Judy Witwicky scenes were damaging to their image.

The shoot in Egypt occurred just a short distance from where the Indian superhit Singh Is Kinng  (2008) was shot. Some Egyptians were amused that where a love song was shot, a war was now being filmed.
Robots:

* 14 robots last time, 46 robots this time (ILM only)

* If you had all the gold ever mined in the history of man, you could build a little more than half of Devastator.

* Optimus Prime was  life size on IMAX screens in many forest fight shots.

* Devastator’s hand was traveling 390 miles per hour when he punched the pyramid.

* The pyramid destruction simulation was 8 times bigger than the old rigid simulation all-time record holder at ILM.

* All robot parts laid out end to end would stretch from one side of California to the other, about 180 miles.

* Devastator’s parts stacked tip to tip would be as tall as 58 empire state buildings.

* If all the texture maps on the show were printed on 1 square yard sheets, they would cover 13 football fields.

Disk space:

* TF1 took 20 Terabytes of disk space. Trans2 took 145 Terabytes. Seven times bigger!

* 145 terabytes would fill 35,000 DVDs. Stacked one on top of the other without storage cases, they would be 145 feet tall.

Rendering times:

* If you rendered the entire movie on a modern home PC, you would have had to start the renders 16,000 years ago (when cave paintings like the Hall of Bulls were being made) to finish for this year’s premiere!

* A single imax shot in the movie (df250) would have taken almost 3 years to render on a top of the line home PC running nonstop.

* IMAX frame render times: As high as 72 hours per frame!

ILM screen time:

* ILM Screen Time is about 51 minutes.

Devastator:

* Devastator is as tall as a 10 story building.

* Devastator has more than 10 times the number of individual parts found in an average car.

* Laid out end to end, Devastator’s parts would be almost 14 miles long.

Devastator totals:

* Number of geom pieces: 52632

* The total number of polygons: 11,716,127

* The total length of all pieces: 73090 feet

* The total length of all pieces: 13.84 miles

Funny Movie Quotes :

“Agent Simmons says “One man, alone, betrayed by his country, now its only hope!”

“I hope the F-15’s have good aim.”
“Why?”
“I told them to aim for the orange smoke”
“*looks right* That orange smoke?”
“It wasn’t my best toss.”
“RUN!!”

“Jetfire: My father was a wheel! The first wheel! And do you know what he transformed into? Nothing! But he did it with honor! “

“what im about to show you is top secret…dont tell my mother-agent simmons”

“Agent Simmons – *Looks up at Decepticon that has two crane wrecking balls hanging down from it*
Agent Simmons – *says into walky talky* “I am directly below… enemy scrotum.”

Michael Bay Speaks about Transformers 3

Transformers 3

In an Interview Director Michal Bay talks about some ideas in regards to his Transformers 3 movie, which is projected to come out in  2011, here is what he has to say…

It can’t get bigger, we have to figure out to go sideways and I’m wondering where to start. What I’m doing is having Hasbro send me tons of lore and stuff like that, things that we can draw from, and I just have to let it simmer. Definitely more has to be made of Bumblebee in the third one, that’s a relationship you want to explore more. And I think we’re definitely going to get more into the robot characters.

This movie got very big, very grand, we’ve covered a lot of ground. The third one doesn’t have to be as big, we could go darker. It definitely has to be more emotional, it not going to be just about action, action, action. And that’s where I think T3 might potentially go, where things are more undercover and not as exposed”

Good Ideas, In my opinion. I would like to get to know and see the Transformers already involved in this film, hitting us with a bunch of new ones can be an overwhelming task. I loved the second movie, but I felt they rushed us thru soo many different places and so quick..too busy.

I hope no more annoying talking robots will be in the next one and maybe they can add more clothes to Megan Fox ( I have children!!) I mean does she really had to fix her cycle in those short things?? and maybe she should go easy on the tanning.

Anyways, I hope with all and all we get a heck of a show and less confusing new auto bots..like I still don’t know what happened to that pest she caught in her garage, they never brought him up again. And what was up with that old auto bot, I had no idea they could get old..did you?
